We’re the four people behind Grapevine.
It’s the same small team that launched the app and still works on it every day. No parent company, no investors, and no layers between you and the people building the product. We’ve never been great at talking about ourselves, but we think it matters that you know who you’re buying from.
We didn’t want pricing to get in the way.
We built Grapevine because we wanted a better, fairer way for Shopify merchants to understand their customers. From day one, our focus has been simple: build a solid product, price it honestly, and improve it based on real merchant feedback. That approach hasn’t changed.
We stay closely involved in everything.
We read support tickets, talk through feedback, and make changes ourselves. When you contact support, you’re talking directly to us, not a separate team. That closeness is what keeps Grapevine practical, reliable, and easy to trust.
We’ve also chosen to stay independent.
We’ve never raised money, which gives us the freedom to do what we think is right for merchants. That’s why Grapevine has one simple plan, everything included, and no usage limits. We don’t believe growth should come with penalties.

Alex Dover
Alex handles the development work, building and maintaining Grapevine’s core functionality and Shopify integrations.
Steve Jones
Steve focuses on product direction, documentation, and support, working closely with merchants to shape how Grapevine evolves.
Stu Jones
Stu works day-to-day with merchants on support, helping them get the most out of Grapevine and resolving issues quickly.
Sam Henning
Sam looks after marketing and onboarding, making sure Grapevine is easy to understand and easy to get started with.
At the end of the day, Grapevine is a product built by people who care about doing things properly.
